Why did they change Oxycontin?: I have been taking oxycontin for years for chronic back pain. Now I can't get any relief from pain because of the change. Is there any thing else I can take to stop the pain? I can't stand the pain and the new ones give me a headache. Like I need more pain. Come on and get real. However if you've been taking US 30's its just not 'up to par' because of the different chemicals but there is 80mg......what doesn't make sense is India's 30mg are twice as strong as they are in the US....Plus there are a ton of bootlegs out there so ya have to know who your filling your prescriptions from over there. ## The 80mg have the line across one side of them with no markings on the other.
