I have been taking oxycontin for years for chronic back pain. Now I can't get any relief from pain because of the change. Is there any thing else I can take to stop the pain? I can't stand the pain and the new ones give me a headache. Like I need more pain. Come on and get real. Don't punish the people that need it. ## I have had neck SX and also have several issues w/ back and SX is not an option. I want to know why the receipe for the OxyContin was changed. It doesn't work anymore since the change--what else (OTHER meds and WHY the change. If it ain't broke-don't fix it. Is the/formula same for generic? Seems like the 40 OC took 20-30-minutes to kick in--now it's over an hour and doesn't last very long but I have been on then for a few years. Anyody got...

Generic medications are normally manufactured by several different companies to create market competition and help keep prices as low as possible. It is the same medication, in the same dosage, just maefaucted by a different company, which in this case is Mylan Pharma...

MY DOCTOR SAID THEY DONT MAKE LORCET 10/650 AND I HAVE BEEN ON THIS MEDICATION FOR SEVERAL YRS. WHAT SHOULD I DO OR IS IT TRUE ## Hello, Denise! How are you? Yes, it is true. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts of Acetaminophen, plus the risks of overdose, the FDA requested that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in all combination prescription medications to no more than 325mgs per dose. Could you please tell me which is stronger a #2 MG hydromorphone small round orange pill. Or a 4mg hydromorphone alittle larger round white pill! Might seem obvious but I had #4 / 50 of them and they were suppose to go higher, now I got 100 #2 hydromorphone. Thanks ## Hello, Karen! How are you? I'm sorry about the confusion. The 4mg is a stronger dosage than the 2mg, as with anything else, with medications, the higher number means it is stronger. Thus, they didn't change your dosage, at all. The FDA lists this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been getting the generic Subutex Roxane brand 54 411 Buprenorphine tablets for months now from Walmart pharmacy and the past two times I've gotten my prescription filled there, I was given a different generic made by Hi Tech with an 8 and an arrow. I asked them why the change because those little tablets just are not the same and they said the Roxane ones could not be ordered. I called around to other pharmacies I have gotten my prescription filled at before also and was also told that the Mylan M 924s can no longer be ordered either. What's going on with the Roxane and Mylan Buprenorphine tablets? Did they stop making them or is there some kind of shortage? I had the choice of getting the small Hi Tech tablets which seem alot less potent than the Roxane or the Actavis 15...

Thank you. ## Hello, Jim! How are you? I am very sorry about what happened to you. However, if you're asking if what your doctor did was appropriate, then yes. the new white norcos 10-325T do not work.what did they change in them and why.the yellow ones wrked fine and now they aren't making them anymore.are they testing to see if our pain is real? ## From what I could gather, you're certainly not alone in this matter. There's actually a fairly large discussion thread here (linked below) talking about this very problem with the "weaker" white version replacing the "stronger" yellow tablets. Perhaps some of the responses there can at least offer a bit more insight as to why this is happening and how others might be coping with it: Discuss/White-Watson-10mg-325-853-245408.htm I hope this helps! ## I agree.
