How are you doing? I am so very sorry that you're in pain. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in this area? Have you had any recent testing that documents your condition and what's causing it?

In search of recommendations for a doctor/weight loss clinic in the Detroit area that will prescribe Adipex (phentermine) to an overweight but otherwise healthy me. Inquired with my family doctor a few times only to have my interest brushed off. ## I just got mine from Dr. Bouier on greenfield and 9mile. I lost 7. lbs in two effin days. 2 EFFIN DAYS! My combo is phentermine 37.5 and wellbutrin. ## How much was your Adipex and do you have to be a patient to get a prescription? ## How much was your visit and how much was the adipex? ## What about Kalamazoo, Mi or near there, do you know of any? I was talking to an employee of DrToHelp and not sure I want to take a chance with them, especially giving them my credit card account info.

Ive had many head injuries any high anxiety and seizures Ive been on xanax for twenty years. I need a doctor the will help me with this, ## Hello, Dave! How are you doing? I'm sorry about your medical issues. To get proper treatment for this, you'll most likely have to see a neurologist, due to the new directives set forth by the DEA last year, most general practitioners are going to be reluctant to prescribe such a medication and treat such issues. The FDA classifies Xanax as a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? My name is Jim and I recently moved (January) from Detroit here to Los Angeles. For the past 7 years I have been taking 30 mg oxycodone (not contin) for my debilitating headaches. I do have a doctors verification and my medical records to back me up Up to now I have been using the ERs for medical treatment. Because I have to go so often and I don't want to risk being labeled a drug addict, I find myself using different names sometimes to avoid this. I HATE that I have to do this. These headaches are keeping me from holding down a job. They are truly debilitating. Please know that I do not get a "high" from this medication. It only helps me function in this world. If you can offer any suggestions, I would be greatly appreciative. ## Hi Jim, I may not have a doctor I can refer...

I would like to stop taking Detrol LA. Do I need to stop at once or go off of it slowly. My eyes have been getting worse since being on the drug. ## It really depends on how long you have been taking it regularly, if it has been several months to a year or more, then you will probably need to slowly taper off of it. You should speak with your doctor about the problems you are having with it and they can probably help you with the best way to stop taking it. Anytime you are taking a med for a long period of time, your body gets used to having it, this is called Dependence and if you try to stop suddenly, you will suffer some mild withdrawal symptoms. ## I loved that Detrol let me sleep through the night Besides dry eye and throat I’m dizzy and exhausted a lot and I get out of breat...

Hello all. I need to find a doctor in the Detroit metropolitan area who will prescribe oxycodone for my osteoarthritis. I will travel. Thanks ## Hello, Georgia! How are you? Unfortunately, there is no database of doctors that will prescribe any given medication. And if you require such a medication on a long-term basis for chronic pain, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist. PCPs and surgeons have been severely restricted as to what they can prescribe, how much they can prescribe and how long they can prescribe it. Learn more Oxycodone details here. And when looking for a new doctor, the worse thing you can do is ask them ahead of time about prescribing any specific medication, especially a controlled...

Anyone in Detroit? If anyone has that information, I will be eternally grateful!!!! {edited for privacy} Natalie ## Hello, Nat! How are you? It depends what you need the Methadone to treat. It it's for chronic pain, then any doctor can prescribe it, but due to the new regulations, you'll need to see a pain management specialist if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis. However, if you require it for drug addiction or maintenance treatment, then you can only receive that in a clinical setting from those that are specially trained in its use for such. Learn more Methadone details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I can search for listin...

Im looking for a Dr. or psychiatrist that will prescribe me xanax. My Dr. recently retired and I've been getting 120 2mg bars every month for years and als. I've been on methadone the last 3 years at 140 mgs. Im from the Detroit, Michigan Downriver area. ## 120 Bars a month, nobody should have that? We can't tell you who takes what insurance. If you have to pay for them they would cost around $25 at Walmart. ## I need to find a doctor that will write Xanax for my anxiety and panic attacks. Can anyone tell me why every pharmacy in metro Detroit is out of Norco? They don't know when they will be in? Even the pain center that prescribed it with their own pharmacy is out. ## Shortages just sometimes happen, the manufacturers may have trouble obtaining the raw ingredients, shipping problems or etc. The only thing you can really do is wait it out, or speak to your doctor about possibly prescribing an alternative medication in the meantime. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I was hurt in car accident but, I have prescription for 30 mg oxcodone can't find pharmacy to fill them .I can get to surronding suburbs near detroit. ## Sorry to hear about your situation. From what I've recently read from others under similar circumstances, there are rumors going around that Oxycodone in all its forms are gradually being taken off the market by the FDA. This would explain why very few people are having success finding a pharmacy to fill it; especially in Florida. I haven't found any official announcements that verify this claim, but I think the vast number of people unable to fill their scripts speaks for itself in many ways. Have you talked to your doctor about this? I'm not sure he or she would continue prescribing something if it can't ever be f...

Now, NOT so great so get a load of it: I had to make another appointment to discuss w/ my Dr. the drug he wanted to put me on in the FIRST place. My doctor has just prescribed Solifenacin for overactive bladder. Previously I had been on Detrusitol. Can anyone tell me if one is better than the other? ## What it really comes to down is which medication is best and safest for you to use and the only way to really know that is by trying it, as your doctor advises.
