I am on daily of 3000mg of cell cep for threatment of Pemphagus.are there any long term usage side effects?I have been on it close to four years .any chance of weaning the medication out?
Did you mean the immunosuppressive drug Cellcept?
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, vomiting, headache, and runny nose.
As to long term side effects, there are always risks with taking any medication, such as liver damage, or kidney damage.
As to weaning off of it, the really depends on the severity of your condition, and what your doctor thinks you should do.
