Starting Coreg
UpdatedFor several months I was taking Coreg tabs, 12.5 mg 2X day. I had mitral valve repair, and my MD doubled my dosage. Now I can barely move or concentrate--and have almost no energy. How long does getting acclimated to this drug at my docage take. I find this drug's side affects to be almost worse than my symptoms???

According to the FDA, Coreg may cause dizziness, fatigue, increased urination, joint pain, and vision changes as side effects.

How long have you been on the new dosage?
Typically, side effects last about 4 to 5 weeks, until your body gets used to the new dose.
