Based on my endoscopy I have been diagnosed with H pylori. I am suffering form GERD, having intense gas formation causing headache, vomiting, etc. Dr suggest Sompraz HP for 14 days. I started taking the medicine yesterday (i.e from 19.05.2017) in the morning after breakfast and in the evening after dinner. On the first day after taking my first dose of medicine I began to feel a vibration in my body. After dinner I had taken my second dose, and when I wake up in the morning I feel pain in the movement of my jaw and chewing something. Still I took the following dose the next morning. After roughly 6 years of taking Dexilant 60mg my insurance will no longer cover it. Are there any OTC medications I can use to take its place? It is round and white with RP at the top and on the bottom part 111 and on the back just a line going across and it's big and thick. I was told it was a generic over counter pain relief pill made by the company "Dr choice". ## I located a round pink tablet with RP on the top and 111 on the bottom of one side & just a score line on the back of the pill. The issue is that my finding is pink and your description is white. Name: Gas Relief RS (simethicone) Dosage: 80mg Imprint: RP 111 Shape: Round Color: Pink Labeler: CVS Pharmacy, Inc. My only guess is that by "pain relief", it meant "pain caused by excess gas", but if in doubt I would still encourage you to bring this pill you have into your local pharmacy for a second opinion. I've been taking sompraz hp and normaxin for the past week. My question is if alcohol can be taken along with this medication (once a week)? ## Hi. I am taking sompraz kit along with normaxin and udiliv. I'm now out of my two-week course I have taken for 12 days. My question is, can I drink alcohol? ## No you can’t. You have to give it time (at least 2 months) for your GERD and gastritis to settle down. Alcohol may interfere with your healing process and it may become dangerous with severe stomach burn.

I have been prescribe Dexilant 60 Mg 1 capsule twice daily and Sucralfate 1GM 3 times a day an hour after meals. I haven't taken them yet but it concern me what I have read on each one of them. I am 69.7 years old and many medicine have given me bad reactions. Sorry about the problem that you're having. However a cure, per se, is really a matter of time. By the time you're feeling the results of the reflux, that means some damage has been done and it has to heal, which is why the medication seems to only provide temporary relief. You also need to watch what you eat for awhile, such as staying away from alcohol, caffeine and spicy foods, because all of those can raise the level of acid that your stomach produces. What happens after surgery when you have a GI stromal tumor (GIST) removed from your stomach? I am wondering about the recovery period and how long it takes to recover?
